Pakistan breaks ceasefire, mortar fired in tail sector

Poonch: The Pakistani Army again violated ceasefire, firing heavily without provocation along the Line of Control (LOC) in the towns of Shahpur and Kirani in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. The Shahpur Kirani in Poonch district and the Pakistani army fired mortars in the Hiranagar sector of Kathua district, breaking the ceasefire.

While giving this information, the officials said that the Indian Army also gave a befitting reply to the nefarious antics of Pakistan. The army has said that Pakistan opened small arms and mortar firing in Shahpur, Kirani and Kasba sectors in Poonch. The Indian Army has also given a befitting reply to this. The Pak Army, which meant violence, started firing at around 7 pm on Wednesday evening in Shahpur Kirani sector of Poonch district, adjacent to the LOC, to infiltrate a group of terrorists into India.

The Pakistani Army first fired mortars by making the forward posts a target. Shortly thereafter, mortars were also started in residential areas. India also gave a befitting reply to this. Even after this, the Pak Army is continuously firing, there is an atmosphere of fear in the related areas. However, so far no information has been reported about the loss of life and property in this firing.
