Paran Bandopadhyay is ready for a stage performance after almost a year. Talking about this, he said, “We have been booked for a theatre show titled Mitheybadi in Durgapur, in March. Last year, before the pandemic we did our last show in Kolkata. I am looking forward to our show now as performing on stage gives me a different kind of satisfaction". Talking about the show, Paran said that Mitheybadi is written and directed by him. The story is related with how at times in life we have to lie for other’s happiness".

While talking about acting and directing it together, the actor said that everything is a habit now and he knows how to balance both task effectively. He also said, "Our team rehearses a lot before the final stage show. So, things will be under control when we perform on the final day on stage.

Paran also talked about his work front that he is supposed to start shooting for Pathikrit upcoming comedy from February. The film also features Ritwick Chakraborty in key role. I will also start shooting for Rajiv Debnath’s film from March in which Rituparna Sengupta will play the lead.
