Patna: The court has sentenced the accused Shahid to death in the case of brutal murder after raping a teenager in Sasaram, Bihar. Along with this, the court has also imposed a fine of Rs 76,000 on him. The court of Additional District Judge-1 Manoj Kumar has said that keeping in view the nature of the crime, the condition of the criminal, the condition and circumstances of the deceased, the crime comes in the rarest of rare category. Shahid is a resident of Dhansoi in Buxar district. 

Let us tell you that about 14 years ago, a girl was brutally murdered after rape in a village of Kargahar. The girl's mother lodged an FIR at the Karghar police station. The victim's mother told that, 10 days before the incident, I had gone to my elder daughter's in-laws place in Ghazipur (UP). I had another girl and two boys at home. On June 16, 2009, at 5 pm, I got a call from my son that my daughter had died. I returned to my village at 10 pm. By that time people had also put my girl's dead body in a coffin to be taken to the cemetery. At that time people were told that the death occurred due to heat stroke.

The mother of the deceased had told that the dead body was also buried in the village cemetery at 11 pm. Then the next day I came to know that my boy had gone from home to the village at one o'clock in the afternoon. The girl had gone to a house in the village to spread cow dung. From where he came back at two in the day. Meanwhile, finding the girl alone, the accused Shahid entered my house and raped and killed my daughter. The court sentenced the accused to one year simple imprisonment and fine of Rs 1000 for house trespass, life imprisonment and fine of Rs 25 thousand for rape and death sentence with fine of Rs 50 thousand for murder.
