New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday launched the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission. He expressed gratitude to all doctors, nurses, medical staff of the nation for their contribution in the fight against Covid-19. Speaking at the launch of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, the Prime Minister said that be it vaccination or treatment of Covid patients, "their efforts gave a huge relief to the nation and helped it in fight against the virus".

He said, "With the free vaccine movement, India has administered about 90 crore vaccine doses, therefore creating a record. Certification has also been issued for the same. CoWin has to be credited as well for this achievement"

He Prime Minster mentioned, PM Modi said that the Arogya Setu app has helped a lot in preventing the spread of infection. He said, "Vaccine to everyone, under the free vaccine campaign, India has been able to apply about 90 crore vaccine doses today, so Co-WIN has a big role in it."

The PM also said, that hospitals and hospitality work in tandem. He said that on the occasion of World Tourism Day, "integrated health infra's positive impact reflects on tourism, especially after COVID". "More vaccination means more tourists, which is why vaccination in Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar is at pace," the PM said.
