NEW DELHI: India's Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, will inaugurate the landmark week dubbed "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav" at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi, on June 6 at 10.30 a.m.  This event will be broadcast live across 75 Indian cities.

The event will be streamed live from ICAI Bhawan, Thudialur, 44/45 Mettuppalayam Road, Thudialur, opposite Union Bank of India. During this programme, the Ministries of Finance and Corporate Affairs will present different governance reforms that have resulted from both ministries, including the evolution of the financial sector and the country's economic progress.

The Prime Minister will also present a unique edition of five coins in various denominations with the AKAM (Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav) logo embossed on them.

The Prime Minister will also unveil the Jan-Samarth portal, a single unified national platform that will make credit-linked government initiatives more accessible and convenient for all recipients. Beneficiaries can now log on to this portal and verify all qualifying conditions before applying online. The importance of financial inclusion is emphasised throughout the event, as it is the flow of funds that helps people to prosper. The nation/motherland is happy when its citizens prosper. All of the Hon'ble Prime Minister's efforts have been directed toward the nation's quick and healthy progress. A short film titled "Money Flows, Nation Grows" will be shown as part of this theme.
