Let us tell you that the Central Government started this scheme (PMGKAY) after the lockdown was imposed due to Corona Virus. For this, the government had allocated an amount of 1.70 crores. Under this scheme, the poor have been getting free food grains at the rate of 5 kg per person.

Let us tell you that on Friday, almost the entire cabinet was in Lucknow because the process of forming a new government in UP was to be completed.
