'Having lotus photo is a kind of shamelessness', Congress slams G-20 logo

New Delhi: India is going to host the G-20 Summit. This is a matter of pride for every Indian. Not long ago, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched its logo and website. Now on the G-20 logo, Congress leader Jairam Ramesh has given a big statement attacking the BJP.

Jairam Ramesh said, "The G-20 logo has now become the election symbol of the Bharatiya Janata Party. The Bharatiya Janata Party does not leave any opportunity for its campaign, in such a situation, it is a kind of shamelessness to have a photo of the lotus on the logo released to host a global organization.'' Jairam Ramesh also tweeted expressing his displeasure, in which he wrote, "70 years ago, Jawaharlal Nehru Ji rejected the proposal to make the Congress flag the flag of India. Now the logo of the hosting of the G20 made by the country has become the election symbol of the Bharatiya Janata Party. All this is a shocking development. We know by now that Prime Minister Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party will not miss any opportunity to campaign for themselves!"

Congress is attacking these people by making statements. Let us tell you that PM Modi while releasing the logo, theme and website of G-20, had said that this is a historic opportunity for India. The lotus flower in the G-20 logo is portraying India's mythological heritage, our faith, and our intellectualism. Significantly, India will assume the chairmanship of the powerful group G20 from the current chair Indonesia on December 1.
