New Delhi: A tweet by senior advocate Prashant Bhushan has again come into controversy. In this tweet, he has commented about the Chief Justice of the country (CJI). In such a situation, this matter has now reached the Attorney General. Advocate Sunil Singh has written a letter to Attorney General KK Venugopal in the country's largest court, requesting that Prashant Bhushan be allowed to be tried for contempt of court.

Earlier, Prashant Bhushan has been sued for contempt of court on two tweets commenting on the Supreme Court. In the old suit, a fine of one rupee was imposed on Prashant Bhushan by the Supreme Court.

The court took automatic cognizance of Prashant Bhushan's last tweet. There was a long hearing in this case and Prashant Bhushan refused to apologize, then he was fined one rupee. In such a situation, the latest tweet from Prashant Bhushan has now reached the Attorney General. However, no official reply has been given by the Attorney General.
