Pregnant The Hunger Games actress joins Amy Schumer to rally for abortion justice at Women's March; Photos

Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Schumer came to the streets on Saturday, October 2 to join the Women's March for Abortion Justice. Schumer shared a photo of the two at the Women's March protest on Instagram, where they were seen carrying banners calling for reproductive rights in reaction to Texas' new abortion law.

Amy shared a photo on Instagram with Lawrence, who was spotted at the demonstration with a handmade sign.. Sharing the photo, Schumer wrote, "I don’t have a uterus and she is pregnant but we out here @womensmarch @plannedparenthood #rallyforabortionjustice." Lawrence, who has won many Academy Awards, is expecting her first child with her husband Cooke Maroney. During her appearance at the event, the 31-year-old actress wore a chequered dress that revealed her baby bump. "Women can't be free if they can't control their bodies," Lawrence was spotted holding a placard.

Several celebrities congratulated Schumer and Lawrence on their decision to join the Women's March, and several celebrities commented on Amy's tweet encouraging them. In the comments, Sharon Stone commented, "Brava," while Ali Wentworth added, "March for my ovaries." Other celebs, like Chelsea Handler, Rachel Zoe, and others, have also expressed their support.

For the uninformed, Schumer and Lawrence participated in the Women's March, which has been taking place across the United States in support of abortion justice in light of the new Texas legislation prohibiting abortions after six weeks of pregnancy.
