Prince William and Prince Harry, despite being miles apart, are set to come together for a special occasion honoring their late mother, Princess Diana. The Diana Legacy Awards, dedicated to commemorating Diana's impactful legacy, will be held on March 14 evening (local time) at the Science Museum in London.

Established in 2017, these awards pay homage to Princess Diana, who tragically passed away two decades ago. They recognize the outstanding contributions of young individuals aged between nine and 25, who have worked towards improving the lives of others.

Prince William will attend the ceremony in person, where he is scheduled to deliver a speech. Meanwhile, Prince Harry will join virtually from his residence in California, ensuring his presence at the event. Notably, in the previous year, both brothers refrained from mentioning each other in their individual video messages for the event, though Harry acknowledged his brother during his speech in 2021.

The Diana Legacy Awards occur biennially, honoring 20 remarkable young leaders from across the globe. These individuals exemplify Princess Diana's spirit by inspiring others and making significant contributions to their communities. To be eligible for the 2023 Legacy Award, recipients must have won a Diana Award between 2022 and 2023.

Among the recipients in 2021 was Aditya Dubey, an environmental activist from Delhi. Dubey's initiative, 'Plant a Million Trees,' stemmed from his personal experience of falling ill due to air pollution. Starting with a few trees, he documented his progress online and eventually planted over 180,000 trees, earning him recognition with the Diana Legacy Award.
