Patna: Floods in Bihar have disrupted normal life. On the other hand, the situation is also intensified. On the last day of the monsoon session, former Bihar CM Rabri Devi has demanded PM Narendra Modi and Bihar CM Nitish Kumar to declare the floods in the province as a national disaster. As soon as CM Nitish Kumar sought help from the Central Government to deal with the floods, the opposition also geared up.

Rabri Devi, wife of RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav, has demanded that the floods in Bihar be declared a national disaster. Rabri Devi has said that people are in a state of disrepair but the Centre and the state government are not doing anything. Rabri Devi has also demanded a financial assistance of 10,000 crore rupees to declare a national disaster. The opposition was constantly encircling the state government.

'Help will be given to all flood victims 'Nitish Kumar says in Bihar Assembly

Replying to a question in the House on Friday, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that the government has conveyed the efforts made by the government. Addressing the House, CM Nitish said that on 13th July, we discussed the subject for eight hours. It was decided to launch water, life and greenery campaigns in the state. He said that I have inspected the flood situation myself. He said all the places were inspected through an aerial survey, each victim would be given full help.
