Udaipur: A teacher at St. Paul's School in Udaipur, Raj Sthal, made a mistake when the teacher posted a link to a pornographic film instead of a class X online class URL. The link could not be deleted immediately as the link went to the school server. The link remained there for about an hour as the server was down. Meanwhile, many students opened it up and saw it. While some students informed the teacher about the mistake, some parents complained to the school management.
The school management admitted the mistake in the case and issued a notice to the teacher concerned Dhruv Kumawat and sought his response. The management has constituted a committee to investigate whether the teacher had deliberately done it or that the link had gone to the students by mistake. After the matter came to notice, the school management held a meeting with the staff and gave necessary instructions to avoid such mistakes.
On the other hand, while talking to the media, the teacher said that it was time for the class to send a link to the children when he was deleting other messages on WhatsApp. This obscene message was copied instead of deleted and accidentally went to the school server. On receiving information about the case, all India Students' Council (ABVP) workers raised slogans outside St. Paul's School and protested. The council demanded action against the school teacher. The school management has assured action after the students demonstrated.
