Jaipur: A very unique case has come to light in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Doctors here were chanting Gayatri mantra while a patient was undergoing brain tumor surgery. The special thing about the surgery, which lasted for nearly four hours, was that the doctors did not sedate the patient during this time. In order to carry out this operation, doctors took the help of high-end microscope technology so that they could study the part of the brain closely.

In fact, 57-year-old retired Army havildar Ridharamhadra had repeated epilepsy attacks, and when he received the attack, his voice was temporarily lost for some time. He then underwent an examination and found that he had a low-grade tumor in the speech area of his brain. That is why they are having this problem. The tumor was a place where a slight lapse would either completely destroy their ability to speak or paralyze them. Ridharamram went to Narayana Multispeciality Hospital in Jaipur to get rid of this problem. A team of doctors led by neurosurgeon Dr. KK Bansal performed successful surgery in four hours and removed his tumor. Ridharamremained fully conscious during the surgery and continued to chant Gayatri mantra.

Similarly, a 24-year-old girl underwent a brain tumor operation in Delhi AIIMS last month, the girl was fully conscious during the surgery and was constantly reciting Hanuman Chalisa.
