Dehradun: A pair of Snow leopards have been seen on the Malari Sumana border road on the Indo-China border. People coming out of the road recorded the snow leopards on their phones. It can be seen in the pictures that two snow leopards are seen roaming on the side of the road. Snow leopards are found in snowy areas.

Let us tell you that Snow Leopard always lives in snowy areas. Two snow leopards have been sighted near Sumana on the India-China border. Only soldiers of the Indian Army and ITBP are present at this place. This is also a restricted area. Snow leopards were also seen in the month of April in the Sumana area. After that, now these leopards have been seen in November. Snow leopard is a rare species of animal and it is also on the verge of rapid extinction. Snow Leopards are protected under the Government of India and Uttarakhand Wildlife Protection.

The Sumana area comes within the Nanda Devi National Park. Here too, special protection of snow leopards is done by the Forest Department. They are also counted from time to time so that the correct information about Snow Leopards can be kept around the forest department. This is the reason that in the year 2022, snow leopards are being seen this time in this area adjacent to the India-China border.
