Villagers of 50 villages of Chhattisgarh have met the District Magistrate in Bijapur during the Corona period On Monday.  He presented several other demands, including cash payment of tendu leaf, to the District Magistrate. These villagers told, 'The District Magistrate has told us that within two days we will receive the cash amount. If it does not, we will perform again. Actually, these villagers arrived here after traveling 25 kilometers from their villages.

For your information, let us tell you that among the villagers who came on foot, not only men but also women and children were involved. Although all of them had put on masks, but the physical distance in this crowd was not appropriate.

Apart from this, police barricading was done outside the District Magistrate's office, which was broken by these villagers. People tried to forcibly enter the Collector Office. The mob of villagers also broke the police barricades. Actually, these villagers were demanding many other things including cash payment for tendu leaves. They all came here after walking 25 km. On the other hand, more than 13 thousand patients of coronavirus have been cured during the last 24 hours in India. During this time, 18 thousand new cases have also been reported. However, the gap between infectious cases of the virus and patients recovering is also increasing rapidly. The total number of coronavirus cases in the country has increased to over 5.66 lakhs. At the same time, out of this, 3.34 lakh people have completely recovered after treatment. In this way, the rate of recovery of patients has increased to 58.67 percent.
