Shahjahanpur: Even if it takes 19 years, people will go to any extent for revenge. A shocking murder case in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, reveals so. On Thursday, police said a man shot and killed a 40-year-old man in the city area in what was believed to be a case of revenge.

Superintendent of Police S Anand said Narain Kashyap, a resident of Lodipur, was murdered by Akshay and his buddy, Bablu, on Wednesday night while standing outside a private hospital. Kashyap was a shooter who murdered Akshay's brother in 2002, according to him, and his body was sent for a post-mortem examination.

The accused is being sought by the police. This also draws attention to the fact that the alleged accused may have been planning to do so for a long time. More killings could have been averted if there had been a redress system in place to investigate the murder of the accused's brother over two decades ago.
