Lucknow: Shohde, who came out on bail from Prayagraj jail in Uttar Pradesh, dragged and kidnapped a girl in front of Allapur police post on Thursday morning. She kept on screaming, but the people kept on staring and no one helped her. Angry over the engagement of the girl, the young man carried out this incident. After receiving the information, the Georgetown police laid siege. Police recovered the girl safely within 14 hours and arrested the accused.

Golu of Mayorabad had befriended the girl resident of Hashimpur Road two years ago by hiding his real name Riyaz. When the young woman came to know of his reality, she distanced herself. Angered by this, Riyaz entered the girl's house about a year ago, beat her up, ransacked and took her away. At that time, the Georgetown police had sent Riyaz to jail after registering a case of molestation, assault, kidnapping and under the SC / ST Act. He was imprisoned in Naini jail for more than six months. He was released on bail a few days back. Here, the girl's family members got her engaged.

Riyaz was standing in an ambush near the Allapur police post on Thursday morning. At the same time, when the girl passed by, threatening Riyaz grabbed the girl's neck and started dragging her. When he protested, he started threatening. After kidnapping the girl, he took her to Phaphamau. After getting information about this incident, the girl's family lodged a case at Georgetown police station. Georgetown SO Brijesh Singh said that Riyaz was arrested after registering a case.
