Nagpur: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Chief Mohan Bhagwat has now stepped into the world of social media. In addition to that, six more veteran leaders of the Union have joined Twitter. Apart from Bhagwat, Sarvayawah Bhaiyaji Joshi, co-sponsor Suresh Soni, Krishna Gopal, V Bhagya, publicity chief Arun Kumar and Anirudh Deshpande have all taken to Twitter. The Union chief's Twitter handle is @DrMohanBhagwat.

However, no RSS leader has posted any tweets yet. After coming to Twitter, the Sangh chief Bhagwat is just following RSS, while more than 12 thousand people are following the Sangh chief. Among them are celebrities like Baba Ramedav, Manohar Lal Khattar, Smriti Irani.

RSS has already made its presence on Twitter in 2011 and has over 13 lakh followers of its handle. It may be mentioned that so far these RSS leaders had distanced themselves from this kind of public platform, but the visit of the top RSS leaders to Twitter is seen as a major change in its policy and is being linked to the state.
