Rurouni Kenshin, a Japanese anime television series, will be released next month. It is a widely awaited project and adaptation among anime fans, based on Nobuhiro Watsuki's manga series of the same name.

Rurouni Kenshin is planned to air on Fuji TV's Noitamina block on July 7, 2023. The official discription of the series says, "During the violent era known as the Bakumatsu, there was an Ishin assassin known only as Hitokiri Battousai, whose skill and brutality became near legendary in the age of Restoration he helped to build." The warrior departed soon after and resurfaced eleven years later as Himura Kenshin, a swordsman.

He stays at a kenjutsu dojo run by the ferocious Kamiya Kaoru, yet he still wishes to fulfil his commitment to protect the helpless. However, his history comes back to harm him and those close to him. Soma Saito as Himura Kenshin, Rie Takahashi as Kamiya Kaoru, Taku Yashiro as Sagara Sanosuke, Makoto Koichi as Myjin Yahiko, Yuma Uchida as Shinomori Aoshi, Saori nishi as Takani Megumi, and Satoshi Hino as Sait Hajime are among the voice actors for Rurouni Kenshin.

The film then skips to the eleventh year of Meiji and introduces the series' other protagonists. Aside from the video, the Rurouni Kenshin opening song was also released. The theme song, Hiten, is performed by Ayase and R-Shitei. The ending theme song, Kissaki, will be composed by Reol. The series will last two consecutive courses, or around half a year. Rurouni Kenshin was announced for the first time in December 2021. The news was made during Jump Festa 2022. After the 1996 anime series, this is the second anime television series adaptation of the manga series. Rurouni Kenshin, directed by Hideyo Yamamoto and animated by Liden Film, will be screened in the United States, France, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, and South Korea. The series will be screened twice in Japan, at United Cinema Aqua City Odaiba.
