Saif Ali Khan will be seen as a Naga Sadhu in Navdeep Singh's upcoming untitled film. Last year, a lot of pictures of Saif went viral on the internet as he was completely unrecognizable in his character. Since then, the audience has been curious to know why exactly the makers planned to give Saif such a look.
In an interview with Mid Day, the Chef actor got candid about the film and his look for the same. He said that he had to give 2 hours of his day for the makeup. For him, going for the shoot on this get-up was like going to a war every day. Khan revealed that they have shot the film in mud and heat.
Saif Ali Khan said, "I play a revengeful Naga Sadhu. He kills a British soldier, and wears a bandana to look cool." When Saif Ali Khan's look as Naga Sadhu was leaked from the sets, a lot of people compared it to Jack Sparrow from Pirates of The Caribbean. Saif revealed that even his son Ibrahim and Karisma Kapoor's son Kiaan felt it resembled Jack Sparrow.
The film is named ‘Laal Kaptaan’ and will hit the screens on September 6 this year. Saif said that this film is going to create a genre of its own. Apart from this, Saif Ali Khan will be seen in the second season of his web series titled Sacred Games 2. A few days ago, the makers shared a new promo which has thrilled the audience.
