Salman Khan to play detective in the remake of Korean film Veteran

Salman Khan ‘s upcoming film Bharat is most aniticpated film of the year. The trailer of the of the film is already out and reciving positive response from the audience. Now, according to the latest report, in another film he will be seen playing the role of a detective in the remake version of the Korean film Veteran. Actor-producer Atul Agnihotri confirmed the news of acquiring the rights of the original film and in an interview.

 Atul told PTI, “I saw the film and I liked it. I thought it is an opportunity to make it with him. It is a class film. I showed him the film and he felt the same. Salman has given a go ahead. He will play the detective in the film.”

Atul further said that the Adaptation are never literal, adaptations are always a starting point. After that, you blend it according to the sensibilities of the audience.

Talking about the 2015 Korean film, it revolves around a detective, who hunts down a young and successful man running a crime syndicate.

 On the work front, Salman is currently busy promoting Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat and the film will hit the screens on June 5, 2019. Interestingly, Bharat is also a remake of the 2014 Korean drama titled Ode to My Father. He is also busy in shooting of Dabaang 3 which is being directed by Prabhudeva.
