Lucknow: Senior Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Yusuf Malik from Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh has surrendered before the CGM court in Rampur. Yusuf Malik has been booked in connection with the land of farmers of Aliaganj in Rampur. In this case, he was out on interim bail. The case was registered in 2019 at Police Station Azimnagar, Rampur. A case was registered under sections 147, 342, 307, 504 and 506 by a farmer for threatening him.

Yusuf Malik appeared before the court on Monday after a non-bailable warrant was issued in the case and surrendered. Calling himself innocent, Yusuf said, "A case has been registered in Moradabad for threatening and obstructing government work by an officer. The government belongs to them and they can do whatever they want." At present, Yusuf Malik has surrendered before the Rampur court. Yusuf Malik said, "I have surrendered, there was a case of 307, which was an old case of Aliaganj. In that, I have surrendered. A warrant was issued against me. This is a false and fake case of Moradabad. The authorities have a chance to grab while I have not misbehaved. They have misbehaved with me and now the government belongs to them, everything belongs to them. The pen is theirs, everything belongs to them. "No matter who writes the truth as a lie, then the master, if you write the lie as the truth, then he is the master."

Yusuf Malik's lawyer Nasir Sultan told the media, "The case dates back to 2019. Its crime number in section 421/2019. 147, 342, 307, 504 and 506 it is connected to the farmers. In the land cases, a farmer lodged an FIR against him (Malik). There are allegations of intimidation and murderous assault, but there was no such case. A fake FIR was lodged, and the same case was going on. He was already on bail from the High Court, but now the chargesheet has come. So now it has been surrendered. This was the case at Police Station Azim Nagar. A case of 353 in Moradabad has been registered just 10-15 days ago. At the same, he was putting a lot of pressure. The police administration has wrongly declared the reward. As far as my information is concerned, this is not such a big deal. 353 has cases up to two years in jail, as the matter is political. When any matter is political, it is highlighted, so the result is all this. This is part of an action, the Azim Nagar case is from 2019.
