New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has taken major action against gangsters. The NIA on Tuesday raided several locations in several states across the country. This action of the raid has been done to end the nexus between terrorists, gangsters and drug smugglers based in India and abroad.
The NIA has carried out searches at more than 40 locations in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. This action has been taken on the locations of people related to many gangs including Lawrence Bishnoi, and Neeraj Bawana.
On September 12, raids were conducted at 50 locations:
Earlier on September 12, the NIA had raided more than 50 locations in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Delhi-NCR. On August 26 this year, the Delhi Police registered two cases. The raids were conducted after the NIA took over the investigation of these cases. Some gangsters based in India and abroad are carrying out terrorist and criminal activities in the country. Such gangsters were identified and a case was registered.
