New Delhi: The political mercury has soared after the viral video of The Naraina massacre in Delhi. BJP MLA from Loni Nand Kishore Gurjar, BJP leader Kapil Mishra, quoting the viral video on social media, said that now the country's capital Delhi is becoming a hub of mob lynching of Hindus. It may be recalled that, on the night of Holi, a 29-year-old youth, Shiva Gujjar, was murdered in Narayana area of west Delhi. In this case of murder, the police have arrested 5 people including one minor.
The Delhi Police has informed that on the night of March 18, a call was received from the hospital that a 29-year-old youth, Shiva, a resident of Naraina village, was brought to the hospital in an injured condition and had knife marks on his body. The police, during the investigation of the case, found that the deceased along with his three friends had gone to Narayan's PVR Complex at 9:30 am on March 18, where he had been overheard with people working in a paan shop. The quarrel took place over a minor collision of the bike and in the same dispute, a minor working in a paan shop stabbed the deceased Shiva on the chest, after which he was taken to a hospital where the doctor declared him brought dead. Police have arrested all the assailants, including the minor accused, while investigating the case and also recovered the knife used in the murder from them.
However, 4 days after the murder, a video of six seconds is going viral, in which the deceased is seen lying injured on the road. A young man is standing with him and a policeman is also seen there. Now some leaders have tweeted that Shiva has been murdered by people of another community in a hush manner and different questions are now being raised about this.

Sources in the Delhi Police said that the youth who is seen with the injured Shiva in the video is not a murderer but is known to him. But this video is now viral and people are running a Justice for Shiva Gurjar campaign about it. The main accused in the arrest of the accused youths by the Delhi Police is a minor. The other attackers have been identified as Dharmendra Roy, Sachin Roy, Ramanuja and a lawyer.
