New Delhi: Today was a very important day in the Gyanvapi case of Kashi, the city of Baba Vishwanath. On Friday, separate cases regarding Gyanvapi were heard in the top court, high court and district court. Hearing the matter, the Supreme Court has ordered to preserve the protection of the 'Shivling' found in the Gyanvapi complex till further orders. That is, the Shivling will be kept safe. The top court has said in its order that no one will touch the Shivling.

The court had earlier ordered the protection of Shivling till November 12. On the other hand, District Judge Ajay Krishna Vishwesh has fixed December 5 as the next date of hearing in the Shringar Gauri and Gyanvapi Masjid case. The hearing has been postponed till the first week of December by the High Court. In fact, the Supreme Court was hearing today the demand to pursue the order related to the preservation of a composition like Shivling found in Gyanvapi.

At the same time, the hearing was held in the High Court against the order of the survey given from the Lower Court. The Supreme Court has given a concession to the petitioners that they should approach the District Court and tell their arguments to the District Judge. The district judge will decide that all the petitions should be heard together. Also, the court has given the Hindu side three weeks to present their case.
