Noida: The Thana Bisrakh police of Greater Noida has arrested a criminal who shot dead his sister. It is being said that the elder sister had stopped her brother from drinking alcohol. This made the brother so angry that he shot his sister in the chest. Police have arrested the culprit and seized a country-made pistol, a live cartridge and two magazines from his possession. Police have taken the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem.
In fact, Ruchi, a resident of Sadabad in Hardoi, lived with her husband in a rented house in Jalalpur village of Greater Noida. The woman's brother Suraj Rastogi alias Sanju also lives in this house and he drinks a lot of alcohol. The criminal Suraj used to make a ruckus by drinking alcohol every day. On Friday night, he was still drinking at home. Due to this, the sister refused to let her brother drink alcohol, which made him angry and shot his sister in the chest. The woman died on the spot.
Police have arrested 22-year-old Suraj in the murder case. The deceased woman was around 32 years old and lived with her husband in Kengaon Jalalpur in the Thana Bisrakh area of Greater Noida. The criminal, Suraj, had been living here for several years with his three sisters and two brothers. Police have registered a complaint of murder against the criminal. During interrogation, the accused revealed that he had purchased the gun used in the incident from the Pilkhua area of Hapur for Rs 5,000. The accused said that his sister repeatedly refused to let him drink alcohol. Over which the two had a fight.
