Vanbhulpur police arrested the groom on the basis of his sister-in-law's complaint. In this case, the police said that the sister-in-law of the arrested person has accused the groom of rape. Not only this, but the victim woman has also filed a lawsuit against her mother-in-law. The marriage is now cancelled.
According to information received, the woman living in Vanbhulpura police station area was married five years ago in Udham Singh Nagar, Pulbhatta district. According to the complaint given in the police station, the victim's husband died a year ago due to illness. Two and a half months after the death of her husband, she gave birth to a son. She was living in her in-law's house with two children.
Meanwhile, in the year 2019, on the second day of Dussehra, his brother-in-law entered her room at night and raped her. The victim gave this information to her mother-in-law. Now it is alleged in this case that she silenced her by asking to marry her rapist. He continued to exploit her every day by pretending to be married, but in the meantime, it came to know that the young man is going to get married to someone else. When the victim spoke of marriage, the mother-in-law, father-in-law and brother-in-law assaulted her and threw her from the house on 20 May last month, threatening to kill her. After that, he was supposed to be married on Wednesday which has now been cancelled.
