The reservation proposal has been approved in the special session of the Uttar Pradesh Legislature on Tuesday. In the Vidhan Bhavan, the proposal for extending the duration of SC-ST reservation by 10 years has been approved in the proceedings of the Legislative Assembly.

According to the media report, the 126th Constitutional Amendment Bill was unanimously approved in the state assembly. After the approval of the reservation proposal, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressed the assembly. CM Yogi Adityanath said that the Narendra Modi government of the Center is realizing Dr. Ambedkar's dream. The BJP government has built a grand memorial in the name of Baba Saheb in Nagpur and Mumbai. He said that the bill to increase reservation in the House was introduced in the House. There is reservation for backward people all the way in the country. No one gets reservation on the basis of religion here. Our government has acted without discrimination on reservation. Have done the work of connecting all kinds of people.
