New Delhi: In the Corona Pandemic, after the death of the virus, it was said to give compensation to the family members. In this way, people also started getting compensation. In such a situation many people started making false claims to get money. In view of such cases, the Supreme Court has taken a big decision.

The Supreme Court has allowed the central government to investigate allegations of filing false claims to get corona death compensation. Under this, 5 per cent of the claims filed in Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Kerala will be reviewed.

The Supreme Court has set a deadline of 60 days to claim compensation for the death due to corona by March 28. To get compensation for future deaths, the claim has to be made within 90 days. After the supreme court's approval, the central government can verify the claims of 5 per cent compensation in 4 states. There is a great difference between the number of these claims and the deaths recorded. In such a situation, the Supreme Court has allowed the Centre to investigate the filing of false claims for corona compensation.
