New Delhi: In a major decision, the top court has ordered a permanent commission for women in the Indian Army. The Supreme Court said that there is a need to change the thinking about women in the army. A bench of Justice DY Chandrachud and Justice Ajay Rastogi said that the appointment of women officers in the army is an evolutionary process.
