Due to a dispute over a delay in order, the owner of an online food delivery restaurant in Greater Noida was allegedly shot and killed by a Swiggy delivery boy on Wednesday. The police are on the lookout for the fugitive accused.

Sunil, who used to run the Zam Zam food delivery restaurant in Greater Noida's Mitra Society. A Swiggy delivery boy came to the restaurant at 12.15 a.m. on Wednesday to pick up an order of chicken biryani and puri sabzi, according to the police.

While the chicken biryani order was immediately handed to him, a restaurant worker named Narayan informed the delivery boy that the second-order will take some time. According to eyewitnesses, the delivery guy got angry and started fighting with the worker.

The accused fired at Sunil's head when he intervened between the two. Sunil was rushed to Yatharth Hospital, where he was declared dead. Eyewitnesses said the accused was under the influence of alcohol.He was accompanied by another man who helped in the killing of the restaurant owner. The police are searching for the delivery boy with the help of footage from CCTV installed near the spot. The accused would be arrested soon, the police said.
