The police has booked a male teacher who used to force the girl students to take bath in front of him naked in the night at the residential school in Aurangabad's Beed District. The school is located in Shirur taluka of the district.

The action against him was taken after a girl student wrote to 'Lek Ladki Abhiyan'. The girl in it mentioned that he has been doing this from past five months. The police has filed a complaint against the teacher under section of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and Sexual Harassment Act of the Indian Penal Code.

Varsha Deshpande, founder of the 'Lek Ladki Abhiyan' as per the sources news said "We visited the school accompanied by senior government officials from the social welfare department. When asked, the girls shared their experiences of sexual abuse as mentioned in the letter," .
