Lucknow: The dead body of Shivaji Yadav, Head of Mathauli village under Harpur Budhat police station area of Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, was found hanging in his room on Sunday morning. On the information of his suicide, there was uproar in the whole village and mourning spread everywhere. According to the report, some boys of the village who went for a walk on Sunday morning reached the village head's house. When there was no response from the village head on calling, they peeped inside through the window. They were surprised to see the scene inside the room. There the village head's body was seen hanging from the latch of the roof. There was chaos in the village on this information. A crowd of villagers gathered around the head's house.
Some people informed the Harpur Budhat police about this. Station in-charge Sandeep Yadav, who reached the spot, broke open the locked door from inside and brought the dead body down from the noose. The police made a panchnama of the dead body and sent it for postmortem. On information, Khajni's CO Anil Singh also reached the spot and investigated. It is being told that the head's wife lives in Gorakhpur city. He also has a son. The head's one brother is a constable in the police and two brothers live abroad.
According to the police and villagers, the head has committed suicide, but the reason why he committed suicide is yet to be revealed. According to the people, the head had no enmity with anyone in the family. The family members, as well as the villagers, are in a bad condition by crying on the information about the suicide of the head, Shivaji Yadav. Everyone is sad in the village.
