In order to promote horticulture crops, the Chhattisgarh government has decided to give short-term loans to farmers without interest.

In Chhattisgarh, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has announced that farmers of the state will be given loans up to Rs 3 lakh at zero interest rate. Through this loan, farmers can cultivate horticulture crops such as maize, groundnut, etc. Apart from this, grants on various equipment including technical training for advanced cultivation of horticulture crops and irrigation for advanced farming are also being provided by the government to hone the skills of the farmers.
