Satna: A 16-year-old girl was gang-raped in a boat in Madhya Pradesh. Police said that six persons raped the minor in Chitrakoot of Satna district. The incident took place on the intervening night of Friday and Saturday. The surprising thing is that among the six persons arrested by the police, one is also an acquaintance of the victim.
Police said that an acquaintance of her was raping a minor girl near Mandakini river late night. Then 5 people driving the boat saw both of them. Instead of rescuing the minor girl, the criminals forced her to sit in a boat. Then all five together raped the minor. The acquaintance of the victim who was raping her is a resident of Banda district of UP.
Police said that the rapist of the minor girl was known to her and worked with the victim's parents in Hyderabad. The victim's parents had invited her to their home in Satna. The parents of the victim had asked the culprit to take their daughter to the doctor for treatment. The criminal was taking the victim for treatment but he raped her on the banks of the river. This incident of rape was witnessed by five boatmen. Then the five raped the victim again. The victim's mother lodged a complaint with the police in this matter. The police have arrested all the criminals. Police said that the youngest criminal is 18 years old.
