Bhopal: Public Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr Prabhuram Chaudhary has recently started a new initiative. He has started talking directly to the patients with a view to improving the treatment and systems in the hospital. Today Health Minister Dr Chaudhary has decided that he will interact with patients of any hospital through video-conferencing on Monday every week. He has started this new initiative to improve the health department. Health Minister Dr Chaudhary held discussions on Monday with the patients admitted in Vidisha and Khandwa hospitals and had a video call on the treatment and other arrangements being made to them.

He said that next Monday, direct communication will be done with the patient through video-conferencing, which will continue continuously. Health Minister Dr Chaudhary has also told that during the talks, departmental officers will be directed to take necessary action after receiving feedback regarding treatment and hospital arrangements. The direct interaction with the patients was started from the patients admitted in the ICU ward of Srimanta Madhavrao Scindia District Hospital in Vidisha district. Meanwhile, while being discussed, Health Minister Dr Prabhuram Chaudhary said after taking the name of the patient that Saudan Singh Ji, I am speaking Dr Prabhuram Chaudhary, Health Minister.

During this, he spoke to 52-year-old Mr Saudan Singh of village Seu regarding his treatment. On the call, Saudan Singh said that he had a heart attack. He is undergoing treatment at the hospital and is taking rest. The two patients with whom Health Minister Dr. Chaudhary spoke told that we had a scissor and we received all the arrangements in a convenient manner during treatment. Meanwhile, Mrs Anshu Vivek Jaiswal, mother of a newborn, admitted to SNCU, Khandwa, said in conversation that 'her child was admitted 25 days ago. Care and treatment by doctors, nurses and staff gave a new life to her child. Now he is recovering. '
