Rewari: The mystery of the death of a young man under suspicious circumstances in Rewari, Haryana, has been solved in just a few hours and the culprit has been arrested. The deceased and the perpetrator were brothers in the relationship. The criminal has revealed in the police interrogation that he killed his cousin and burnt him due to an illicit relationship with his wife.

On Thursday morning, the charred body of Rohit (22), a security guard, was found in the guard room at Sainath Ready Mix Concrete Plant in Dharuhera. The family had alleged that Rohit was murdered and his aunt's son Karan Singh was involved in it. On Saturday, DSP Bawal Rajesh Lohan said that Rohit was posted here as a watchman for the last one month. During the investigation, the police found that Karan Singh was also a security guard there. Rohit was not in the room on the night he was murdered. On strict interrogation, Karan Singh confessed to killing Rohit.

According to DSP Rajesh Lohan, Karan told during interrogation that Rohit, who was lying on a cot in an inebriated state, first hit a brick on the head, due to which he died. After that, he poured diesel on Rohit along with the cot and set him on fire. He said Rohit had an illicit relationship with his wife. One day he saw both of them in an objectionable situation. Due to this, his anger was aroused and for this reason, he carried out the incident.
