Pratapgarh: The young man was shot and killed in the wake of the shop's old brawl at around 3 o'clock in the city's Basand village on Wednesday morning. The family of the angry deceased from the incident protested on the Mandsaur-Pratapgarh main route demanding the arrest of the accused.
As per the information received, on Tuesday night, Ravindra Teli was asleep at the shop at Basand Crossroads with his wife Tulsi, son Hrithik and daughter Dolly. At about 3 o'clock in the morning, someone attacked him. The attacker fired at Ravindra's chest, killing him on the spot. The deceased's wife, Tulsi, said that Ravindra had bought a shop for one-and-a-half lakh rupees from a man named Suleiman four months ago. Since then, Suleiman had been threatening Ravindra.
At the same time, when Ravindra refused to pay more money in the name of the shop, Suleiman had threatened to kill Ravindra. People of the deceased's family are accusing Suleiman of murder. The police force was deployed in the district hospital and in Basand village since the incident in view of the seriousness of the case. In the District Hospital, ASP is on the spot.
