Ujjain: A bizarre incident has recently come to light from Ujjain city of Madhya Pradesh in which the police have caught him trying to break an ATM. In fact, the case is of the Nagjhiri police station area. Last night, a man entered the ATM in the Nagjhiri area and tried to break into it. He also opened the lid on top of the ATM. Due to this, the patrolling police saw him and took him into custody.  

According to police, the man has been identified as Ramkumar Pathak (38), a resident of Khurai, Sagar. He entered the STATE BANK of India ATM at Nagjhiri and tried to break it from the wheel. SI Dinesh Patel and guard Vinod Kharate, who were on patrol at the time, took him into custody red-handed. He brought him to the police station and interrogated him. It was found that the man had also stolen Rs 700 by breaking the donation box of a Hanuman temple in the Madhavnagar area.  

When the same police interrogated the criminal, he said that he was an MCom pass. His dream is to become a police officer and for this, he is also preparing for the online PSC. He had a desire so he went to steal in the ATM. The police were also shocked to hear these things of the criminal. According to the police, the culprit could not break the ATM. He had only opened the lid, due to which he was caught. The wife of the criminal has passed away due to corona. He has a daughter. It has also come to light that the criminal had also stolen the phones of some passengers in the moving train. He was asking for money in exchange for returning the phone, but the people beat him up. However, no one lodged a complaint then. Police are interrogating the culprit in cases of theft. The police suspect that the criminal is a habitual thief and has committed the theft before.
