These 2 Indian movies nominated for OSCAR

The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences (Oscar) has released a list of 276 eligible movies for this year's Oscar Awards like every year. The names of the movies shortlisted by the Oscars for different categories were released on Thursday night. India has also received good news in films in the Best Documentary Feature category.  According to reports, two Indian movies have also joined the Oscar race this time.

Reports say that two Indian movies have been included in the best documentary category list of the movie given by India. Mohan Lal starrer action-adventure movie Markar and Surya starrer Tamil movie Jayabhim have been shortlisted in the list of 276 movies eligible for the Academy Award. You will be able to watch both these films on OTT. Where Markkar's story is based on the life of Navy Chief Mohammad Ali alias Kunjali Markkar. Actor Surya's film Jaibhim depicts the story of the rights of tribal people. The movie was inspired by a true event.

Nominations to be announced on February 8 According to media reports, polling for all movies eligible for the 94th Academy Awards is scheduled to begin from January 27. After which the final nominations in all categories are scheduled to be announced on 8th February. As usual, the Oscars are going to be held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Reports say that the 94th Academy Awards are expected to be held on March 27.
