The death toll is increasing but on the other hand, the recovery rate has also increased in India. The recovery rate of infected in India is continuously increasing, and mortality is also decreasing. Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said on Friday that it is one of the countries with the lowest infection and death due to epidemic in the world. The rate of recovery from the infection of coronavirus is 63.45 percent while the death rate is 2.3 percent.

The Union Health Ministry said "The number of people recovering from Corona for the third consecutive day in the country reached a record high of 34,602 in the last 24 hours". The ministry said "The total number of cured people has crossed 8,17,208."

According to the data released by the ministry, the death rate from infection has come down to 2.38 percent. According to the data, the highest number of 49,310 cases of infections were registered in the country and the number of infections increased to 12,87,945. After 740 new cases of death from this infection, the death toll has increased to 30,601. Meanwhile, according to the data received from the governments of various state and union territories, there are 13,13,925 cases of infections, while 31,353 patients have died. This is a matter of concern for the people of India because every day the number of people dying is increasing.
