Kolkata: Eligible and job-seeking candidates who were left out in the famous teacher recruitment scam of West Bengal have been continuously on the streets for the last 800 days and are protesting, but the Mamta government of the state is not listening to them. These protesters also approached the court, but the political parties and the administration did not help. On the 800th day of the movement, they are writing a letter to CM Mamata Banerjee with the blood of job seekers, so that the Chief Minister listens to their plea. Along with this, these people are demonstrating by applying ink on their faces.

Minister's daughter got job, not qualified candidate:-

According to reports, job aspirants of the State Level Selection Test (SLST 2016) performed a puja at Kalighat on Tuesday (May 23) and while returning from there sat on a dharna near the Gandhi statue carrying 'Job Wanted' posters. The bread was attached to the banner in the hand. They have only one demand, 800 days have passed. Now at least CM Mamta should think about his appointment. Let us tell you that the recruitment notification of these people was issued in 2016. Ankita, daughter of Paresh Adhikari, a minister in the Mamta government, got a job in the panel in which her name was included. These protesters are job seekers from the same panel. These people say that even after passing the examination, they did not get appointment, the reason behind which is huge corruption.

Heavy corruption in the recruitment of teachers: -

These people have come out on the streets for the last 800 days demanding recruitment. Sometimes in front of Press Club, sometimes in front of Gandhimurti and sometimes in front of Vikas Bhavan, they are complaining, but there is no one to listen to them. Today on Tuesday, they prayed to Maa Kali at Kalighat and sought her blessings. After worship the job seekers said that we are eligible job seekers. Passed the exam too, but didn't get appointment due to corruption. Now we are in the grip of law. We have performed puja at Kalighat in the hope of resolution of the problem and early appointment. Returning from there, they again sat down to protest at the feet of Gandhimurti, in the hope that the government would listen.

These people have also taken poster-banners in their hands, on which it was written that 'Food is needed', 'Employment is needed', 'Job is needed', 'Right to life is needed'. Bread stuck in the banner, there is a glass of water. The protesters claim that in this way we want to draw the attention of the administration. They are sitting in protest wearing ink on their face and being naked. They also wrote letters with blood to attract the attention of CM Mamata Banerjee.
