DHARAMSALA: The recent "false" media claims and slander against the 14th Dalai Lama have been denounced by the Central Council of Tibetan Medicine, which includes 598 certified medical professionals from 22 different countries.

"Chinese Communist agents and some irresponsible media have used a tailored video of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama to damage the reputation of the Noble Laureate." The Dalai Lama's Holiness has severely wounded the feelings of His Holiness' devotees and the entire Buddhist community. The statement demands that the media apologise to His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama and his supporters.

It ends with the words "We support your Holiness for your love and compassion to the entire humanity." In support of the Tibetan spiritual leader, numerous other organisations and people have also released comments calling on the media to apologise to the Dalai Lama.

The change occurs a few days after a video went viral in which the Dalai Lama asked a little kid to "suck" his tongue.

Many claims that the attempt to demonise the Nobel Peace laureate who has spent decades working to end China's brutal occupation of his native Tibet by showing him in a video where he "kisses a child on the lips" was made.

Following the worldwide demonstration by Tibetans, Buddhists, and the supporters and admirers of His Holiness the Dalai Lama in response to the defamation inflicted upon His Holiness’ reputation, many critics and media outlets have publicly expressed their apologies after proper comprehension of the incident.
