Meerut: Advocates from all over the state are going on strike on Friday i.e. on Friday on the call of Bar Council of Uttar Pradesh Prayagraj in protest against the lathi charge on lawyers in Tis Hazari Court of Delhi. At the same time, compensation of Rs 10 lakh to the lawyers injured in the lathi-charge, the demand to punish the guilty policemen after completing the investigation in three months has been included prominently. At the same time, the Bar Council has shown anger over the assassination and attack of lawyers across the state and in all districts and tehsils, the lawyers will send a memorandum to the Chief Minister through DM-SDM and are going to celebrate the protest day.

With this, the Delhi High Court has already ordered a judicial inquiry into the matter.
