Aditya Wanwari has made a mark for himself in the world of entrepreneurship and the food business in Mumbai. He is a young and thriving restaurateur and the founder of Toast Inc. Through his venture, Aditya runs multiple restaurants in the city. These food outlets are for people of all ages as they’re cool, comfortable and serve great delicacies.

Before becoming a restaurateur, Aditya was a popular DJ. He collaborated with talented celebrity artists and has performed at renowned music festivals. But the hospitality industry grabbed his attention, and he wanted to build something similar. Aditya took the big step of switching careers and started Toast Inc. After facing several setbacks; he finally attained his goals.

Some of the restaurants that Aditya Wanwari is running in Mumbai are Donna Deli, Baodim, Foodlez, Shy, Demy and many more. But for 2023, Aditya has some big plans. Through Toast Inc, Aditya will be opening more than 10 new food outlets. He also has 6 consultancy projects in Mumbai, Goa and Hyderabad. All this will be done in 3 months. 

For every new restaurant, it is essential to have a new, professional and skilled staff. With back-to-back openings, one might wonder how Aditya manages to keep up with hiring an amazing workforce. When asked about it, the entrepreneur shares, “Manpower and a good team is the most important for a restaurant. Our staff is the backbone of our institution. Through our years of network and relations we hire the HODS (heads of depts), and then via them, we get the junior staff.”

He adds, “LinkedIn is a great tool as well to get a good team. We have certain guidelines while hiring our team and we follow that strictly. We look for candidates who want to grow with the company rather than by jumping jobs. We look for candidates who are hungry for learning.”

Entrepreneur-Restaurateur Aditya Wanwari is excited about his busy schedule in the next 2-3 months. He feels grateful that his business is doing well and hopes for a phenomenal 2023!
