Chandrapur: A unique incident of stealing motorcycles and selling them on OLX has come to light in Chandrapur, Maharashtra. Police have arrested 22-year-old criminal Rahul Singh in this case. 3 stolen motorcycles have also been seized from him. These motorcycles were stolen from different cities.

This incident is also shocking because till now the stolen motorcycles were either scrapped, or they were sold offline by changing the number. But, till now the information about the stolen vehicles being sold online was not revealed. The police were continuously receiving complaints of motorcycle theft. After that, the police formed several teams and started searching for the culprit. Meanwhile, the owner of a stolen motorcycle received a policy renewal message. He gave this news to the police.  

On the basis of this, the police contacted the policy-making insurance company. It was known that the stolen vehicle was being operated in Nagpur. After that, the police contacted the buyer of the motorcycle. He told that he had bought the motorcycle from OLX. After this, the police contacted the seller of the vehicle on OLX and arrested him by laying a trap. The criminal accepted his crime after being strictly interrogated. The criminal told that he had stolen bikes from Chandrapur, Ballarpur, and Nagpur. Then sold them on OLX. Police have registered a case and recovered three motorcycles. Police are appealing to people not to buy any goods without checking.
