Agra: Due to Corona, many types of restrictions are still going on in many areas. In the meantime, the monuments of the entire country were opened last month, but all the monuments including the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri are closed in Agra. This time, Unlock-3 has guidelines to come, but tourism entrepreneurs believe that the first international flight and trains should be fully operational, then the Taj Mahal is opened.

There is a large section of tourism entrepreneurs, who believe that when all the shops and markets are open, the Taj Mahal should also be opened for tourists. Due to the off season, tourists are coming out in other open monuments. If the Taj Mahal is opened now, then its effect will be seen after at least 6 months.

Also, Director of Hotel and Restaurant Association Rakesh Chauhan said, it would be appropriate to open the Taj Mahal after that the Central Government first start operating international flights and trains all over the country. When the routes of tourists coming to Agra will be closed, then there is no meaning to open monuments. People are already horrified to see the rising figures of COVID-19. The same president of Agra Tourism Development Foundation, Sandeep Arora said that new COVID-19 rules have been framed in each state. Every city has different rules. In such a situation, it is important to make a separate policy for the tourists as well. However, no decision has been made on this for sure.
