In Unlock-1, the Government of Uttarakhand has allowed events in marriage ceremonies / community buildings on Friday with some restrictions. At the same time, under the order issued from the level of Chief Secretary, the state will now be able to organize banquets and community halls. However, these will be banned in the cantonment zone. During the lockdown itself, the use of marriage ceremony sites and community buildings was banned in the state.

For your information, let us tell you that their access has been allowed under Unlock-1. There will be no more than 50 people in the ceremony organized in Banquet and Community Hall. Those attending will have to give an affidavit in which they will clearly state where they are staying. Relatives of bride and groom coming from cities with high load will not be quarantined.

But they will not be allowed to roam. The management of wedding ceremonies and community venues has to keep a record of all the guests and their workers. Prior to admission, all will have to undergo thermal screening and keep a record of the same. It has been clarified that action will be taken for non-compliance of social regulations including social distance.
