Uttar Pradesh: Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, asserted that the ongoing Namami Gange Project, which was directed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi with the goal of making the river and its tributaries "Aviral-Nirmal" clean and water-flowing continuously, has produced good results.

Before the start of Prayagraj Kumbh 2025, as per the state government's decision, Aviral-Nirmal Ganga must be completed, Yogi said in a meeting attended by authorities and other interested parties. To protect the rivers from sewage dirt and harmful water, the development of sewage treatment facilities (STPs) should be hastened at all costs.
The Ganga is a special gift from nature to UP, said Yogi, on Wednesday while inspecting the progress of the "Namami Gange" project. The river, he said, "covers a significant portion of the state and is the centre of our faith as well as the backbone of our economy."

It must be accomplished before Prayagraj Kumbh 2025 can begin in order to make Maa Ganga Aviral-Nirmal. Installation of STPs should be accelerated in order to protect rivers from sewage, dirt, and poisonous water.

The Arth Ganga movement will help millions of people whose way of life depends on the Ganges. We must work together to achieve our goal of having Arth Ganga contribute 3% of the GDP. With the aid of professionals, efforts should be made to establish it as a model.
