Yogi has pledged to transport 22 Himachali students trapped in Sampurnanand Culture University, Varanasi, to Himachal Pradesh by Uttar Pradesh Road Transport Corporation buses. All these students are stranded for the last month and a half. Their money is gone.

According to the information received, he had expressed his desire to return home on the helpline numbers of the state government. After this, Chief Minister Jairam Thakur spoke to UP CM Yogi Adityanath on Thursday. On the request of Chief Minister Jairam's cooperation, Yogi Adityanath has gone a step ahead and assured to send them with his buses. Where sources say that CM Jairam thanked Yogi Adityanath for this. Principal Secretary Chief Minister Sanjay Kundu said that after the positive attitude of CM Yogi, the state government has shared the list of students with the DM of the district concerned. Hopefully students will reach Himachal soon.

It has been learned that after the instructions of the Center, the state government has started the exercise of returning home to students trapped in other states in the first phase. The government has brought 128 students from the quota. 840 stranded in Chandigarh, Lovely Profession University and 31 stranded in Jalandhar, have contacted the governments and administration of the respective states to bring 23 nursing students from Haryana.
